The role
As part of its continued international growth, Apetit is now looking for a commercially driven and hands-on Sales Manager – Export, Private Label & Industry.
In this role, you will take broad commercial responsibility for export, private label and industrial customers, playing a key role in expanding Apetit’s international business. Based in Southern Sweden and reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with both customers and colleagues across the organization, with frequent travel, primarily within Europe (~20–25 travel days annually).
This is a broad role in a lean and entrepreneurial organization, where international business development goes hand in hand with close involvement in products, production and quality. You enjoy working across functions and building relationships with different stakeholders – from distributors and customers to production teams and colleagues within the wider Apetit Group.
Apetit Sverige operates with a high degree of independence, offering short decision-making paths while collaborating closely with the Finnish parent company on larger commercial decisions.
Your responsibilities

Manage and develop existing export, private label and industrial customer relationships.

Identify, prospect and develop new customers and markets across Europe and globally.

Own the full customer dialogue – from quotation and negotiation to delivery and invoicing.

Work closely with production and quality teams, staying actively involved in audits, products, operations and customer requirements.

Collaborate across both the Swedish and Finnish operations, representing products from multiple production sites within the Apetit Group.

Drive business development in close collaboration with the Commercial Director

Represent Apetit at trade fairs, customer meetings and industry events.
We believe you bring

A solid background in international B2B sales.

Experience from the food industry.

A strong understanding of customers’ purchasing logic, including specifications, volumes, lead times and certifications such as FSSC 22000, BRCGS and IFS.

A proven ability to open new markets and win business – not only manage existing accounts.

Experience working with distributors and direct customers across multiple countries simultaneously.

Fluent English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
Experience from frozen foods, vegetables or raw material-based products is an advantage. Additional language skills (German, French, Spanish or Italian) are also considered a plus.
