Foodhills is now Apetit Sverige – with an even stronger focus on Nordic food.

Foodhills Ab is now Apetit Sverige Ab.  Even with new name and logo we remain the  dedicated partner, with an even stronger focus on food and the future of Nordic food production.

In November 2025, Foodhills AB was acquired by the Finnish company Apetit, a significant Nordic player in frozen vegetables and frozen ready meals. Apetit is a publicly listed company with extensive experience in pea cultivation and has, for decades, built a strong and stable contract growing model in Finland. Through its establishment in Sweden, Apetit is strengthening its Nordic position and investing long-term in production in Bjuv.

What does this mean for you as a grower?

  • You gain an even stronger and more long-term partner.
  • We combine Swedish growing expertise with Nordic experience.
  • Stability to create long-term security.
  • Market development.
  • Greater opportunities for innovation in plant-based foods.
  • Stronger positioning of Nordic raw materials.
  • Long-term collaboration with you as a grower

A strong shared Nordic profile creates strength on several fronts – without losing local presence. At Apetit, our operations are based on a sustainable value chain, which is reflected in our Mission: Good food for everyone. Locally.

The logo and the name are changing but the commitment to Nordic food remains.
